Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and well-being of our facilities and everyone within them.   1. Ensure the safety and security of all patients, visitors, and employees within our facilities.
  2. Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect potential security threats or risks.
  3. Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergency situations.
  4. Maintain a strong presence and provide visible deterrence to potential security breaches.
  5. Conduct routine inspections and checks to ensure all security equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  6. Communicate effectively and professionally with all individuals, including patients, visitors, and staff.
  7. Collaborate with other security officers and law enforcement agencies as needed.
  8. Adhere to all established security protocols and procedures.
  9. Document and report any security incidents or violations.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and assist with any security-related inquiries or concerns.
  11. Continuously stay updated on security best practices and procedures.
  12. Attend trainings and meetings as required.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Follow all safety regulations and protocols.
  15. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Security Officer, Protective Services Position At Sutter Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
