We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Staff Nurse - Pre-Registration to join our team and help us continue to deliver high-quality healthcare services.As a Staff Nurse - Pre-Registration, you will play a vital role in the patient care process by assisting in the registration and preparation of patients for their upcoming procedures. Your compassionate and professional demeanor, along with your strong attention to detail, will ensure that our patients receive the best possible experience during their time with us.To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals who hold a valid nursing license and have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we would love to have you join our team at Sutter Health.

  1. Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Assist patients with the registration process, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently.
  3. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures.
  4. Prepare patients for upcoming procedures by explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient care experience.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  8. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  9. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  10. Update patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  11. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up appointments.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety.
  13. Stay current on all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
  15. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering teamwork and open communication with colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Equivalent From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team

  • Prior Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility, With A Focus On Pre-Registration Or Pre-Operative Care
