Job Description

At Synovus, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Asset Liability Analyst to join our team. This individual must have excellent financial analysis skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and provide solutions for potential risks as well as develop innovative strategies to maximize the value of our assets and liabilities.The successful candidate for this role will have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least two years of experience in a similar role. They must also have a strong understanding of financial analysis, asset/liability management, and risk management. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about their work and eager to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize financial analysis skills to identify and provide solutions for potential risks.
  2. Develop innovative strategies to maximize the value of assets and liabilities.
  3. Maintain a deep understanding of financial analysis, asset/liability management, and risk management.
  4. Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  5. Gather and analyze relevant data to identify trends and forecast future asset and liability performance.
  6. Develop and maintain effective asset/liability management models.
  7. Monitor and analyze asset and liability performance.
  8. Identify and address areas of improvement in asset/liability management.
  9. Prepare reports for management review.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
