- Conduct thorough risk assessments on all products throughout their lifecycle to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to implement safety measures and controls during product development and production.
- Develop and maintain product safety plans and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and align with regulatory requirements.
- Perform safety analyses and investigations to identify root causes of product safety issues and develop effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations related to product safety and recommend necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on product safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits and reviews of product safety processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with customers to address any product safety concerns and provide technical support as needed.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate product safety performance to management and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of product safety programs and processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Mechanical, Electrical, Or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Product Safety Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Product Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Iso 26262, Do-178C, And Mil-Std-882.
Experience In Conducting Hazard Analyses, Risk Assessments, And Safety Assessments For Complex Systems.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Safety Recommendations To Stakeholders.
