- Lead and manage the entire bid process for the Underwater Warfare Systems (UWS) business unit.
- Collaborate with the UWS business unit and cross-functional teams to develop winning bid strategies.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify key opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners to enhance bid capabilities and increase chances of success.
- Create and maintain bid schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Lead and coordinate bid kick-off meetings, reviews, and debriefs.
- Develop and manage bid budgets in collaboration with finance and business development teams.
- Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with all bid requirements and regulations.
- Develop and maintain bid templates, processes, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and edit bid proposals to ensure high-quality, accurate, and compelling submissions.
- Ensure all bid documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Monitor and report on bid progress and performance to senior management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the bid process to increase success rates.
- Provide guidance and support to the bid team throughout the process.
- Represent Thales in bid presentations and negotiations with clients.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices related to bid management.
- Mentor and train junior bid team members to develop their skills and expertise.
- Uphold Thales' values and promote a positive image of the company to clients and partners.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Bid Management, Preferably In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Bids And Proposals, Including A High Win Rate.
Strong Understanding Of The Bid Process And Experience With Government Contracts And Procurement Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders.
