
Policy Analyst
The Policy Analyst must also promote these papers and discuss these issues in the public square, via op-eds, essays and media appearances, and speak intelligently about them to various audiences, both inside and outside of Washington. Conduct policy analysis and scholarly research. Research, write, and publish high-quality papers, reports, and book chapters. Organize events and meetings. Assist in preparation of Congressional testimony and testify before Congress. Engage with the public policy community and thought leaders. Publish blogs, op-eds, and essays with Heritage and in leading magazines and journals. Participate at public functions and conferences.
3-5 years of relevant experience (which may include graduate studies)
In-depth knowledge of two or more related public policy areas, and practical experience in relevant field.
Masters Degree or Ph.D(preferably) in Political Science
