  1. Conduct lectures and lab sessions in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
  2. Provide support and assistance to faculty and students during lectures and lab sessions.
  3. Share expertise and knowledge with students, helping them succeed in their academic pursuits.
  4. Assist in the development of course materials and curriculum.
  5. Collaborate with faculty to ensure lectures and lab sessions are engaging and effective.
  6. Help students with assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
  7. Provide feedback to students and faculty on academic performance and progress.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and developments in the field of EECS.
  9. Assist in grading assignments and exams.
  10. Mentor and advise students on academic and career opportunities in EECS.
  11. Coordinate with other teaching assistants to ensure consistent and effective instruction.
  12. Attend training and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards students and faculty.
  14. Adhere to university policies and procedures.
  15. Participate in departmental meetings and events.
  16. Assist in the setup and maintenance of lab equipment.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by faculty or department.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Background In Electrical Engineering And Computer Science: Candidates For This Position Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Core Principles And Concepts In The Fields Of Electrical Engineering And Computer Science. This Includes Knowledge Of Programming Languages, Circuit Design, And Computer Architecture.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Lecture Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Effectively Communicating Complex Material To Students During Lectures And Office Hours. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Prior Teaching Or Tutoring Experience: Previous Experience In A Teaching Or Tutoring Role, Particularly In The Field Of Eecs, Is Highly Desirable. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Effectively Convey Information And Assist Students In Understanding Difficult Concepts.

  • Familiarity With Course Material: A Thorough Understanding Of The Specific Course Material Being Taught Is Necessary For A Successful Lecture Assistant. This Includes Familiarity With Textbooks, Lecture Slides, And Assignments.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: As A Lecture Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Their Time Effectively, Preparing For Lectures And Office Hours, And Keeping Track Of Student Progress. Strong Time Management And Organizational Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
