- Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings with candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Process and track employee benefits, including enrollment and changes.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and maintaining performance records.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to HR.
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems.
- Generate and analyze HR reports and data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and address employee development needs.
- Participate in the planning and execution of HR events and initiatives.
- Support employee relations by addressing and resolving employee complaints and conflicts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance HR processes.
- Maintain and uphold the values and mission of the University of New Mexico.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Ada, Fmla, And Eeoc.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Employees And Stakeholders.
Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
