  1. Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  2. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
  3. Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings with candidates and hiring managers.
  4. Provide support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  5. Process and track employee benefits, including enrollment and changes.
  6. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and maintaining performance records.
  7. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to HR.
  8. Maintain and update HR databases and systems.
  9. Generate and analyze HR reports and data to support decision-making.
  10. Collaborate with department managers to identify and address employee development needs.
  11. Participate in the planning and execution of HR events and initiatives.
  12. Support employee relations by addressing and resolving employee complaints and conflicts.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance HR processes.
  14. Maintain and uphold the values and mission of the University of New Mexico.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Ada, Fmla, And Eeoc.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Employees And Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
