- Provide support and assistance to individuals with mental health needs in the Kankakee community.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
- Conduct regular check-ins and assessments with clients to identify their needs and goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops to promote wellness and recovery.
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on current mental health research, trends, and best practices.
- Advocate for clients and their needs within the organization and the community.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of mental health.

Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field
Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Or Community Support Setting
