Community & Citizenship Coordinator

Coordinate Underrepresented Business Enterprise (UBE) programs to ensure achievement of established goals. Verify process plan for BU Utilization metrics tracking and reporting; identify gaps and solutions. Review directory of local certified UBE bidders in alignment with scope of services for potential job opportunities and share results with Procurement. Attend outreach events to engage strategically with UBEs who would qualify to bid on Turner projects. Train and guide project staff to track first and second tier UBE participation on projects to support metrics reporting. Take lead with project team to develop plans to track and monitor diverse and local residents within Trades for projects with workforce development goals. Actively engage with local, community, Federal, State, and City organizations that support and promote UBE advancement, diversity, and inclusion within Trades to build programs and professional relationships.
