We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Data Analyst to join the UBS team. This role requires a unique blend of technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and we are seeking an individual with the passion and expertise to provide the highest levels of security for our clients’ data. The ideal candidate should have a background in information security, along with a strong understanding of data analytics and the principles of data integrity. They will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of security principles and standards, and be able to identify and respond to potential threats. The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues alike.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity• Experience in information security and data analytics• Understanding of network security principles, authentication, and encryption• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Knowledge of security standards and compliance regulations
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor data security systems and networks for possible threats.
- Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Test and evaluate security solutions for data protection and integrity.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to ensure data security standards are being implemented and followed.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to staff on data security best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Research and analyze security incidents, and recommend corrective measures.
- Analyze access logs, detect anomalies, and investigate security breaches.
- Generate reports on security violations and incidents.
