Securities Specialist / ETD Operations

1. Perform daily operational tasks related to exchange traded derivatives (ETD) including trade booking, reconciliations, and settlements.
2. Monitor and manage the ETD trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, including traders, risk management, and compliance, to ensure ETD operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
4. Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with external parties such as clearing brokers, custodians, and market counterparties.
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in ETD operations to continuously improve processes and procedures.
7. Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of ETD systems and platforms.
8. Prepare and distribute reports and analysis on ETD operations to management and relevant stakeholders.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to ETD operations.
10. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of ETD operations.
11. Train and mentor new team members on ETD operations processes and procedures.
12. Adhere to all compliance and risk management policies and procedures.
13. Maintain accurate and organized records of ETD operations activities.
14. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
15. Act as a subject matter expert on ETD operations, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
