Job Description

At UBS, we are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Syndicated Loan Deal Closing and Servicing Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting. They should have a proven track record of success in a similar role and possess an in-depth understanding of the syndicated loan market, including the closing process and the servicing of loan packages to ensure optimal customer service.We seek an experienced professional with a minimum of five years' experience in a syndicated loan deal closing and servicing role, preferably within a financial services environment. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field, and knowledge of common loan software and banking systems. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and a desire to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technology are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the syndicated loan deal closing and servicing team to ensure all tasks related to the closing of loan packages and servicing of loan portfolios are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the syndicated loan market, including the closing process and the servicing of loan packages to ensure optimal customer service.
  3. Ensure all loan software and banking systems are up-to-date and in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  4. Develop and maintain a customer service-oriented approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor the latest industry trends and technology to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest developments.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the team’s progress to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Provide training and mentoring to team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills for their roles.
  8. Manage the team’s workload and delegate tasks to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all projects are completed in a timely manner.
