We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Project Management. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our facilities and projects are managed efficiently and effectively to support the success of our student athletes and coaches.   1. Oversee all aspects of facility management for UCLA Athletics, including maintenance, scheduling, and improvements.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan for all athletic facilities, including new construction and renovations.
  3. Collaborate with coaches, staff, and external partners to identify facility needs and prioritize projects.
  4. Manage the budget for facility maintenance and projects, ensuring all expenses are within budget and properly documented.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of all athletic facilities to ensure they are safe, well-maintained, and in compliance with regulations.
  6. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including university personnel, donors, and community members.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in facility management and project management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  9. Ensure all athletic facilities are in compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the athletic department and other departments on campus to coordinate facility usage and resolve any conflicts.
  11. Supervise and train facility staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of performance.
  12. Attend athletic events and support the overall mission and goals of the athletic department.
  13. Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to facility usage, maintenance, and projects.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Athletic Facilities Management Or Project Management.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations Related To Facilities And Project Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders Including Coaches, Staff, And Outside Contractors.
