Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Manager of Case Management to join our team at UNC Health Care. The Manager of Case Management will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all case management activities, programs, and initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing the operations of the case management staff and providing guidance and leadership to ensure that all case management efforts are effectively implemented across UNC Health Care. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a health care setting working in case management, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field. We are looking for a person with excellent management skills, a strong understanding of health care regulations, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage all case management activities, programs, and initiatives.
  2. Manage the operations of the case management staff.
  3. Provide guidance and leadership to ensure case management efforts are effectively implemented.
  4. Maintain knowledge of health care regulations.
  5. Deliver excellent service to patients.
  6. Monitor performance of case management staff.
  7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  8. Develop and implement standards of practice.
  9. Prepare and manage budgets.
  10. Monitor patient outcomes and develop quality improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field

  • At Least Years Of Experience In Case Management

  • Certified Case Manager (Ccm) Certification

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Case Management Principles And Practices

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards In Healthcare
