Job Description

UNC Health Care is searching for an experienced MD Intensivist to join our team and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and skilled medical doctor who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care. The successful candidate must possess a valid medical license in North Carolina and have completed an accredited residency/fellowship program in Pulmonary/Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Emergency Medicine. The MD Intensivist must be board-certified or board-eligible in their specialty and demonstrate excellent clinical skills and medical knowledge. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at UNC Health Care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care in a compassionate and skilled manner.
  2. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Possess and maintain a valid medical license in North Carolina.
  4. Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and medical knowledge.
  5. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  7. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable standards of care.
  9. Participate in clinical research and other initiatives as required.
  10. Remain current on best practices in the field of Intensive Care Medicine.
