Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Recruiter to join the UNC Health Care team! Our ideal candidate has a passion for helping others, is organized and detail-oriented, and has a strong knowledge of the recruitment process. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for UNC Health Care, working closely with hiring managers to identify and hire the best candidates for open positions.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR recruiting, and a solid understanding of the principles of effective recruitment, interviewing, and selection. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent to UNC Health Care.
  2. Source and pre-screen potential candidates for open positions.
  3. Facilitate interviews and assessment processes with hiring managers.
  4. Develop job postings and post on job boards and social media platforms.
  5. Coordinate onboarding process for new hires.
  6. Maintain and update recruitment records and tracking systems.
  7. Advise hiring managers on recruitment procedures and best practices.
  8. Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  9. Stay up to date with industry trends in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  10. Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
