- Identify and report any potential coding errors or discrepancies and work with appropriate teams to resolve them.

- Stay up-to-date on coding regulations and guidelines related to behavioral health services.

- Ensure all coding practices are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve coding processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for behavioral health coding and auditing.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve coding-related issues and ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
- Uphold the company's mission and values by promoting quality care for individuals with behavioral health needs.
Extensive Knowledge Of Coding And Documentation Guidelines For Behavioral Health Services, Including Cpt, Hcpcs, And Icd-10 Coding Systems.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Coding Or Auditing Role, Preferably In The Behavioral Health Field.
Strong Understanding Of Medicare And Medicaid Guidelines And Regulations Related To Coding And Documentation For Behavioral Health Services.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Coding Errors And Provide Recommendations For Improvement.
Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Certification Preferred.
