As a Network Packet Broker Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network packet broker infrastructure.   1. Design and implement network packet broker infrastructure to ensure efficient and reliable network performance.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot network packet broker systems to identify and resolve any issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand network requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  4. Develop and implement network policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
  5. Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  6. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in network technology to continuously improve network infrastructure.
  8. Work closely with vendors and other external partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and updates.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on network packet broker infrastructure and best practices.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for network emergencies.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on network performance and project statuses.
  12. Collaborate with other engineers and teams to develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
  13. Continuously review and improve network packet broker processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices, for network engineering and security.
  15. Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure network reliability and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, Preferably Within A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Networking Protocols And Technologies Such As Tcp/Ip, Vlans, Bgp, And Ospf.

  • Experience With Network Packet Brokers And Related Tools, Such As Gigamon Or Ixia.

  • Certifications In Relevant Areas Such As Cisco Certified Network Professional (Ccnp) Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Are Preferred.
