  1. Assist the pharmacist in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to members of UnitedHealth Group.
  2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in filling prescriptions and processing medication orders.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to resolve any issues or concerns.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
  5. Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  7. Stay up-to-date on latest developments and advancements in the pharmacy industry, including new medications and guidelines.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  9. Participate in team meetings and trainings to continually improve knowledge and skills.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of UnitedHealth Group.
  12. Contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare by actively seeking ways to enhance processes and procedures.
  13. Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician Job At Unitedhealth Group Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Are Able To Understand And Follow Instructions Accurately.

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Unitedhealth Group Prefers Candidates Who Are Certified Pharmacy Technicians. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed A Formal Education Program And Has Passed A National Certification Exam. It Also Shows A Commitment To The Profession And A Higher Level Of Skill And Knowledge.

  • Previous Experience In A Pharmacy Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Pharmacy Setting, Such As A Retail Or Hospital Pharmacy, Will Be Preferred For A Pharmacy Technician Job At Unitedhealth Group. This Experience Provides A Basic Understanding Of Medication Dispensing And Inventory Management, Which Are Important Skills For A Pharmacy Technician.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: A Pharmacy Technician At Unitedhealth Group Will Interact With Patients, Pharmacists, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role.
