Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management, Medical Coding, Or A Related Field.
Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Credential From The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Cancer Registry Abstractor In An Acute Care Hospital Or Cancer Center Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Icd-O Coding, Seer Guidelines, And Cancer Staging Systems.
Proficient In Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Cancer Registry Software, Such As Coc Datalinks And Metriq.
