  1. Assist with planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for patients.
  2. Ensure meals and snacks meet dietary restrictions and special requirements.
  3. Work closely with healthcare team to develop individualized meal plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and record patients' food and fluid intake.
  5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dietary areas.
  7. Educate patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  8. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  9. Maintain inventory of food and supplies and place orders as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve dietary services to meet patient needs.
  12. Attend trainings and stay updated on nutrition and dietary guidelines.
  13. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
  14. Assist with other dietary tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  15. Ensure patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Dietary Technician Through The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Food Service Management, And Dietary Guidelines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Professionals And Patients.
