  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the Orthopedics/Bariatrics department.
  2. Utilize expertise and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  8. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and lifestyle changes.
  9. Adhere to all hospital and nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
  10. Continuously update and improve knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  11. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and rights are respected.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  13. Prioritize and manage patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience In Orthopedics Or Bariatrics.

  • Advanced Certification In Orthopedic Or Bariatric Nursing (E.g. Onc Or Cnor For Orthopedics, Cbnc For Bariatrics).

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Orthopedic And Bariatric Patient Care, Including Experience With Pre- And Post-Operative Care, Wound Management, And Patient Education.
