- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's information security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Oversee and enhance cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze security systems, networks, and applications for potential security breaches or unauthorized access.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security trends and make recommendations for proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams to contain and remediate security incidents.
- Develop and implement security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new systems or applications to ensure security controls are in place.
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers to ensure their services meet the organization's security requirements.

Extensive Experience In Cybersecurity And Information Security: A Senior Information Security Analyst In A Soc Role At Universal Health Services Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles, Protocols, And Best Practices. This Includes Experience With Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, And Risk Assessment.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Standards Related To Information Security In The Healthcare Industry. This May Include Hipaa, Hitech, Nist, And Other Relevant Frameworks.
Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Information Security Analyst At Universal Health Services Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Data Encryption, And Security Monitoring Tools. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Manage And Respond To Security Incidents.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Cybersecurity Team, The Individual Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. This Includes The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Analysts, And Effectively Communicate Security Risks To Stakeholders At All Levels.
