Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team of Clinical Research Monitors at University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for working with human subjects in clinical research and the ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of accuracy. The Clinical Research Monitor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, overseeing data collection, and monitoring clinical trial activities.Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, at least two years of clinical research monitoring experience, knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and experience with relevant software programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements for clinical research trials.
  2. Oversee data collection activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Monitor clinical trial activities and provide timely feedback to project teams.
  4. Collaborate with clinical research staff to ensure protocols are followed correctly.
  5. Develop and maintain good working relationships with study sponsors and other stakeholders.
  6. Keep up to date with applicable GCP guidelines and other regulations.
  7. Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, including case report forms.
  8. Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the study.
  9. Provide guidance and training to clinical research staff on GCPs and other regulations.
  10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy.
