Job Description

At University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Research Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This position requires an individual with excellent clinical and research skills who is passionate about utilizing their expertise to further the field of speech language pathology. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in speech language pathology, a minimum of three years of clinical experience as a speech language pathologist, and expertise in quantitative research and statistical analysis methods. This individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and the desire to develop and implement innovative research programs. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical and research services to patients with speech language disorders.
  2. Utilize quantitative research and statistical analysis methods to further the field of speech language pathology.
  3. Develop and implement innovative research programs.
  4. Mentor and supervise staff members on research activities.
  5. Ensure that all research activities comply with applicable regulations.
  6. Maintain detailed records of research activities.
  7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in order to develop research programs.
  8. Develop and deliver educational programs related to speech language pathology.
  9. Participate in professional development activities to stay current on advances in the field.
  10. Maintain a positive work environment by providing excellent patient care.

  • Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (Asha)
