
Director, Marketing and Game Presentation
The Director of Marketing and Game Presentation’s primary duty is oversight over football and basketball game production. Planning and directing football and basketball games to create high energy environments and memorable fan experiences are at the forefront of this position’s role. This position exists to lead game presentation for football and men’s basketball, which includes preparing scripts, coordinating game day elements, directing gameday ops/production staff, creating innovative and engaging in-game activations and entertainment, and strategically using games as an opportunity to market programs and initiatives. In addition to creating an internship program to help execute department initiatives and activations, this position will be responsible for creating a student internship program that promotes educational and professional development opportunities for interns.
At least 2 years of related professional experience.
Experience executing and directing game scripts and production
Ability to produce a live sporting event with a focus on creating an engaging and high energy atmosphere for fans
Knowledge and expertise in collegiate sports and new media, in addition to knowledge of the workings of a collegiate athletics
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including nights, weekends, and at time holidays
