Job Description

Interns will assist with analysis and resolution of defects reported by the business. He/She will also work on new development for existing software platforms. Uses Visual Studio for creation of front-end .Net applications. Provides development support across all of UPS Capital's internal systems (.Net and Windows).Works with development team to correct issues and maintain existing features. Develops improvements to our existing solutions as required by the company. Assists in the estimation of tasks, identifies possible obstacles and proposes appropriate solutions. Follows company software standards and changes control guidelines in developing software. Detects and predicts code defects by peer reviewing code.

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a passion for software development

  • Understanding of basic web technology (.Net, C++, JavaScript)

  • Demonstrates the ability to perform routine analysis, document approach and findings, and present results

  • Majoring in or have completed a degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university
