Lead Web Developer

This role supports, participates and drives technology projects through determining application requirements, solutions and application design, development, coding, testing, deployment planning and follow-up. This position creates and manages projects of smaller complexity at times managing resources from other functions. Designs proposed software. Analyzes software and system requirements. Develops and implements software components Promotes evolution of software life cycle. Supports/maintains existing systems Develops business cases to ensure projects are aligned with UPS's corporate strategy. Performs cost benefit analyses to ensure effective use of UPS resources and maximum return-on-investment. Attends stakeholders’ status meetings to provide application progress reports. Maintains application documentation to ensure user guides are current and user-friendly.
