
Trailer Mechanic

- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on UPS trailers to ensure they are in safe and optimal working condition.

- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on trailers to identify potential problems and address them before they become major issues.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on trailers.
- Work closely with the transportation and operations teams to prioritize and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in technology to ensure trailers are serviced and maintained using the latest methods and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on trailers.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Communicate with management and provide regular updates on the status of trailer repairs and maintenance.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the trailer maintenance program.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Certification Or Training In Diesel Mechanics Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Trailer Maintenance And Repair
Knowledge Of Dot Regulations And Safety Standards For Commercial Vehicles
Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Mechanical Issues Using Diagnostic Equipment And Tools.
