  1. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by closely monitoring and observing their condition at all times.
  2. Lead a team of patient safety attendants and provide guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient safety plans and interventions.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient observations, interventions, and any changes in condition.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and address any concerns.
  6. Train and educate new patient safety attendants on proper protocols and procedures.
  7. Conduct regular safety checks and audits to identify any potential risks or hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
  8. Stay up-to-date on patient safety guidelines and best practices, and implement them within the healthcare setting.
  9. Serve as a resource for staff and provide support in handling difficult or emergency situations.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback on ways to enhance patient safety and care.
  11. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and patient-centered care within the team.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  14. Respond promptly to any patient or family concerns and take appropriate action to address them.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Clinical Patient Safety Attendant Or In A Similar Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Training In Crisis Intervention And De-Escalation Techniques.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Train And Supervise A Team Of Clinical Patient Safety Attendants.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Hospital Policies And Procedures Related To Patient Safety And Ability To Implement And Enforce Them Effectively.
