
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated caregivers. In this role, you will provide comprehensive health care to newborns and families in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are looking for a professional with a passion for neonatal health and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care.The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in neonatal nursing and a valid license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Vermont. You will also have at least 3 years of experience as a neonatal nurse practitioner in a Level III NICU setting. The ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the health care team will be essential to success in this role. Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive health care to newborns and families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) • Monitor and assess the health of newborns in the NICU • Prescribe and administer medications as needed • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the health care team • Develop and maintain relationships with newborns and families • Educate patients and families on neonatal health topics • Participate in research studies and clinical trials as needed • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in neonatal care • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Vermont
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Neonatal Nursing
Certification As A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
At Least Two Years Of Experience As A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
