1. Greet patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner, and assist them with any questions or concerns they may have.
2. Conduct patient assessments to determine individual nutritional needs and create personalized nutrition plans.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive optimal nutrition care.
4. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition and provide resources and support for healthy eating habits.
5. Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient nutrition assessments, plans, and progress.
7. Stay up-to-date on current nutrition research and trends to provide the most relevant and effective care.
8. Work closely with food service staff to ensure patient meals meet dietary needs and preferences.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.
10. Participate in team meetings and training to continuously improve and enhance nutrition care services.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to nutrition care.
12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
13. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed patient satisfaction goals.
15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.
