Verizon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IAM Security Engineer to join our team. As a member of our Security Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering and supporting secure authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions.We are looking for a security engineer who has a strong background in security, identity and access management (IAM), who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security engineering, along with the ability to collaborate with partners, stakeholders and customers to ensure the implementation of secure authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions.The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and/or IAM• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting secure authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions• In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols, identity management, access control, and authorization technologies• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, and experience in developing and enforcing security policies• Experience in developing and deploying security solutions for cloud-based applications• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsIf you have a passion for security engineering and a commitment to providing secure authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions, we want to hear from you!
