Job Description

Verizon is looking for a Manager, Employee Communications to lead our internal communications strategy across the company. This role is a critical part of our team and requires an experienced individual who is an excellent communicator, a creative problem solver, and a team player. The successful candidate is passionate about communications and hungry to make a difference in the lives of our employees.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employee communications, preferably in a large corporate environment. They should have a strong understanding of employee engagement, digital media, and content creation. In addition, they must possess a deep understanding of the organization’s mission, culture, and values, as well as a commitment to fostering a positive company environment. The Manager, Employee Communications must be a creative thinker and have a knack for developing innovative and effective solutions that are tailored to the needs of our employees. They must also be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Finally, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead the company’s internal communications strategy, tailored to the needs of employees.
  2. Create and produce engaging digital media and content for internal communications.
  3. Manage and monitor employee engagement initiatives.
  4. Provide guidance and support to the communications team.
  5. Research and analyze trends in employee communication.
  6. Develop innovative solutions to enhance internal communications.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and consistent message.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  10. Manage project timelines and budgets.
