
Manager, Employee Communications
Verizon is looking for a Manager, Employee Communications to lead our internal communications strategy across the company. This role is a critical part of our team and requires an experienced individual who is an excellent communicator, a creative problem solver, and a team player. The successful candidate is passionate about communications and hungry to make a difference in the lives of our employees.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employee communications, preferably in a large corporate environment. They should have a strong understanding of employee engagement, digital media, and content creation. In addition, they must possess a deep understanding of the organization’s mission, culture, and values, as well as a commitment to fostering a positive company environment. The Manager, Employee Communications must be a creative thinker and have a knack for developing innovative and effective solutions that are tailored to the needs of our employees. They must also be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Finally, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the company’s internal communications strategy, tailored to the needs of employees.
- Create and produce engaging digital media and content for internal communications.
- Manage and monitor employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to the communications team.
- Research and analyze trends in employee communication.
- Develop innovative solutions to enhance internal communications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and consistent message.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and budgets.
