Manager, External Communications and Media Relations

Verizon is seeking an experienced, creative and highly organized Manager of External Communications and Media Relations to join our Corporate Communications team. This role is responsible for developing and leading strategic external communications plans to create and amplify visibility for Verizon’s product and service offerings. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong public relations and media relations skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective external communications strategies.The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in external communications and media relations. In addition, the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders is essential.
