Job Description

Verizon is looking for a Technical Support Representative to provide customers with exceptional service and technical support. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is organized, customer service-driven, and tech-savvy. The Technical Support Representative will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues, providing technical advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 1 year of customer service or technical support experience, a strong knowledge of internet and phone services, and excellent customer service and communication skills. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to think quickly on their feet and troubleshoot customer issues in a timely manner. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess a strong sense of empathy and be able to remain patient and professional with customers.

Responsibilities of a Technical Support Representative:

  1. Troubleshoot customer issues and provide technical advice in a timely manner.
  2. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  3. Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Document customer interactions and keep records of customer service issues.
  5. Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay up to date on the latest developments in internet and phone services.
  7. Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved.
  9. Provide product and service education to customers.
  10. Maintain a high level of customer service standards.
