The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing the development of products from concept to completion, and ensuring that our products remain competitive and relevant in the marketplace. The successful Global Product Development Manager will have an eye for detail and a strong understanding of the product development process. They will also need to have excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly. Additionally, experience in the apparel industry and a passion for product development are essential. Responsibilities:

-Manage the development of products from concept to completion, ensuring that they are competitive and relevant in the marketplace

-Maintain an eye for detail and a strong understanding of the product development process

-Develop and implement product development strategies to ensure product success

-Lead and mentor product development teams, and ensure that teams are working efficiently and effectively

-Assist in the selection, training, and evaluation of personnel

-Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product development

-Manage projects and timelines to ensure product launch deadlines are met

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure Volcom products remain competitive

-Provide regular reports and updates on product development progress to key stakeholders
