Middle Market Lending Attorney

Voya Financial is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle Market Lending Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial lending, loan documentation, and loan workouts, with an emphasis on representing lenders in middle market transactions. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

• Analyze and prepare loan documentation related to middle market lending

• Work with clients to develop innovative solutions to legal and business challenges related to middle market lending

• Negotiate loan agreements and loan workout terms with borrowers and lenders

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on middle market lending transactions

• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact middle market lending

• Review and interpret loan documents for accuracy and compliance

• Assist in the resolution of loan disputes and workout negotiations

• Ensure that all loan documents and transactions are in compliance with banking regulations and laws

• Provide support on legal research, due diligence, and other matters related to middle market lending

• Prepare written memoranda and other communications related to middle market lending transactions

• Assist in drafting and negotiating loan documents for middle market transactions

• Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings related to middle market lending transactions
