Lab Aide - Technical

1. Assist in the daily operations of the laboratory, including sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and data entry.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
3. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
4. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate test results for patient care.
5. Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain accuracy and precision of laboratory test results.
6. Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
7. Train and mentor new lab aides to ensure they are familiar with laboratory procedures and protocols.
8. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary.
10. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients regarding laboratory procedures and test results.
11. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current on new laboratory techniques and technologies.
12. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and healthcare providers.
13. Use excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
14. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to improve processes and enhance patient care.
