- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee and labor relations matters within the organization.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to management and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations and labor management in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring a fair and unbiased approach.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to resolve complex employee relations issues and develop appropriate action plans.
- Serve as a liaison between management and labor unions, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive relationships.
- Provide training and development opportunities to managers and supervisors on best practices for employee relations and labor management.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks and issues within the organization.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure consistency and fairness in employee policies and practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting fairness, respect, and collaboration among employees.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for HR team members on employee and labor relations matters.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in community outreach and represent the hospital in labor relations events and activities.
Extensive Experience In Employee And Labor Relations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Employee And Labor Relations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Labor Laws, Collective Bargaining Agreements, And Other Regulations Related To Employee And Labor Relations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Partner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Complex Employee And Labor Relations Issues, Including Negotiations, Conflict Resolution, And Investigations. As Such, They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees, Union Representatives, And Other Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Leadership Abilities: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing A Team, As Well As Implementing Successful Employee And Labor Relations Strategies. They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Staff And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment.
