
Transporter
Demonstrates competence in patient care, patient education safe patient transfers. Carries out transmission based precautions. Observes/reports or records patient response to care given. Active Listening - attends closely to and attaches significance to a patient's verbal and non-verbal communication; refers questions about diagnosis or treatment to the patient's nurse. Works collaboratively with all departments to keep patient wait times to a minimum. Distributes specimens accordingly noting special requirements and prioritize deliveries. Measure and records patient information (i.e. patient weight and height upon admission)
