Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PRN Community Pharmacist to join our team at West Virginia United Health System. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing the best quality care to our patients and have a strong commitment to customer service. The Pharmacist will use their knowledge of medications and pharmacy management to ensure efficient operations and quality medical care. The successful candidate must have a Pharm.D. degree and a valid West Virginia Pharmacist license. We are seeking an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Dispense and provide advice on medications to patients in accordance with West Virginia regulations • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations • Ensure efficient operations of the pharmacy, including inventory control and ordering of medications as needed • Assist with the development and implementation of programs and initiatives to improve pharmacy services • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the best patient care • Educate patients on the proper use of their medications and answer any questions they may have • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with patients and colleagues • Stay up to date on current trends and developments in the pharmacy field and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations
